PROJECT SUMMARY

Project #6

Knowledge Base Application (AI-Driven Requirement, RAG & DevOps Integration Platform)

Stack: Node.js, Express, Prisma, MySQL, Qdrant, Claude (Anthropic API / AWS Bedrock), MCP, Azure DevOps, JavaScript, Claude Code

Role : Software Engineer | Tester (Jan 2026 – Jun 2026) → Developer (Jul 2026 – Present)

Period: Jan 2026 – Present

Description

An AI-driven Knowledge Base platform where teams upload documents (specs, policies, PDFs) into named Knowledge Bases.

Documents are chunked, embedded, and stored in Qdrant vector DB for semantic search.

The platform uses Claude (Anthropic API / AWS Bedrock) for document-grounded Q&A and a User Story Generation engine — generating stories, acceptance criteria, and specs with full traceability to source pages.

Integrated with Azure DevOps for seamless work item creation, synchronisation, drift detection, and lifecycle tracking.

Responsibilities (Tester)

Executed end-to-end testing across user story lifecycle (Retrieval → Insights → Validation → Specification → DevOps integration)
Identified 50+ critical defects in document generation, state management, RBAC, and Azure DevOps integration
Validated AI-generated artifacts ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness
Performed ADO integration testing (push, pull, sync, drift detection, work item linking)
Conducted negative and edge case testing to improve system robustness
Verified workflow transitions (Draft, Completed, Drift) and asynchronous processing behavior
Performed UI/UX and data validation including persistence, caching, and formatting issues
Collaborated with cross-functional teams for defect analysis and system improvements

Responsibilities (Developer)

Enterprise web app where teams upload documents (specs, policies, PDFs) into named Knowledge Bases; documents chunked, embedded, and stored in Qdrant vector DB for semantic search.
Integrated Claude (Anthropic API / AWS Bedrock) as the AI layer for document-grounded Q&A and a User Story Generation engine — retrieves context, generates stories, acceptance criteria, and specs with full traceability to source pages.
Built KB Studio — a chat-driven staged workspace (Draft→Refine→Specs→Plan); implemented the complete chat interface and developed a custom MCP server enabling Claude to call internal KB tools directly within conversations.
Integrated Azure DevOps to push finished user stories directly into project boards. Entire application developed using AI-assisted development with Claude Code across frontend, backend, and deployment.
